Of those that are remaining that have to absorb the workload of the departed, will you start a job search, accelerate retirement plans or stand up for yourself and decline to take on additional responsibilities?

Blake is an immature douche. He wasn’t expected to be the ceo. Keith did not pick this guy and Susan submarined Frank based on her suitability sh-t(hr cr-p not backed by science). So here we are. Blake will just get ra purchased and cuts will be deep after. Leave now if you can.
RA is not any different from any other major corp. RA is currently in cost cutting mode just like many other corps.
Learning new skills in such ancient company, using Excel and localhosts?
Before I left in Jan 2024, there were a few shadow layoffs in late 2023. At that point the writing was on the wall for me, people that excelled at what they did with a bunch of experience 15-20yrs were laid off. It was basically these people are being paid too much money and we are going to transition their work offshore. The issue with that is it took 2-3 offshore folk to absorb that 1 persons work and they still are coming up to speed when I left. Looks good to the shareholders but is it really helping the bottom line? No one really looks at the hidden costs to offshoring that go beyond a simple salary. I don't really thin RA is different than many other large corps. I will glad to retire someday from that rat race.
HaHa, "broaden my skills". That might sound good short term, but what happens 2 years from now when you're burnt out after doing 50-60 hours per week to help a company that will not compensate you for your effort and since it has become the new normal, it will always be expected. Or maybe you plan on taking those new "skills" to your next employer after you realize you are just a number and could be the next one shown the door.
US-based salaries are based on a 40 hour work week and do NOT pay overtime. Have you calculated your hourly rate after working all that extra time for free? How many hours do you have to put in before your work/life balance is not in your favor and you realize you could be working 40hrs at McDonalds or Walmart with a fraction of the stress and be eligible for overtime pay?
salary/2080 = x (for a 40hr week)
salary/2600 = x (for a 50hr week)
salary/3120 = x (for a 60hr week)
I will continue taking new responsibilities and coninue to further broaden my skills.
