Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Over?

So quiet here and in the buildings, at least for the Pepsi side. Is it over?

Now that Dr Pepper has replaced Pepsi as the #2 soda behind Coke, I anticipate changes will continue. Doesn’t bode well for brand teams.

This happens every year since at least 2014. Last couple years it's happening in small batches across the whole year, so be on your toes

It’s never “over”. The stress is inherent in the business model perpetuated by the rats running this place. If they could automate the entire place they would. I have one more year to go before 65 and thank goodness I’m done. Not sure though I’ll even last that long. For anyone younger - normally I’m not a “grass is greener” type of person - but with this place I’ll make an exception.

They are doing things very silently this time. Makes me think they will keep evaluating for more…
