This is certainly tech state of affairs now.
But Avaya takes it to a whole new level.
The extent of smugness by those who believe they have power.
The VOLUME of people who NEVER had this level of authority before but now believe they have arrived (therefore they need to protect it).
There is a small number of people who have done it before.

CMO
CPO
But why the HE DOUBLE hockey sticks are we the training ground for the CFO and CRO and the minions in marketing who will change faces depending the leader {specifically note those who LOVED SH but now claim to be all in with current leader and mission. Convenient chameleons}. All of these people NEVER had that level of status an pay elsewhere. Only at Avaya. Those are whom we need to be focusing on.
Avaya is not for training wheels.
PS (CFO wasn't even hired as CFO at weight watchers. Just stepped up when the other CFO departed and didn't last long. Division CFO at a durable goods company is the equivalent of a bank VP who helps you some up your Christmas fund account).
The writing is on the wall
A few tried it. But all it took was a reminder they’ve filed for bankruptcy twice in seven years. Money talks, Avaya is a rat infested money loser. Anyone that thinks that gives them credibility is a fool. Let em talk all the trash all they want, when they want respect they can show a profit.
Until then, no one cares.
