Whatever happened to Merit increases ?

You must not be getting a merit increase if you have to ask here. Why not ask your direct supervisor?
has anyone heard anything else about increases in July?
we were notified that we are not getting a Merit Increase to take with us on the severance payout. they are tired of giving money to people who wont be with them any longer
cut the cord and move on . some of these employees held on for 18 plus years draining the company. they weren't skilled professional , so why keep paying. I have letters after my name so I deserved everything I could get from them and have survived cancer

They’re always under review, but seldom taken out of review and applied to your paycheck, aka just another dangling corporate carrot you’ll never catch up with.
And when you do after 32 months it’s a measly 15 cents if you’re lucky. That not being in review, that’s figuring out how to rake your employees over the coals even more.

I'm in the US and my department hasn't heard anything about merit increases.
They are going into effect on July 1st. Managers are approving them now
It was given to some random guy in Poland. LOL.
