If Wayfair is truly trying to lay off remote soon, why are there remote positions open on Career Hub? To get the company through a few months?

If there opening for jobs that were just terminated I would dare say they hire them at a cheaper salary. It’s a way to downgrade pay. When customer service gets laid off they already have replacements.
Where is this coming from? Big hiring? Are you a L3, etc?
Where is this information coming from? My understanding is there is a big hiring coming up over the next 2 months for remote frontline positions.
Frontline service or Frontline Service, LPS, CARE?
If you move to a new position they no longer see you as tenured and you’re basically starting over. That’s why they have that one pay structure that only went off of amount of time in your department, not at Wayfair. When you move to a new department, you become part of the layoff bunch along with the ones who have been there TOO long.
So you’re talking all of Service, Level I and Senior, LPS, CARE, etc., gone June 28th. Right? With all the managers for all those teams, gone.
New job postings mean nothing. I know many people that took a new position in Wayfair and weeks later got laid off.
I checked careerhub and I do not see remote positions
Go back through this thread on the other topics, there was a leak for the date in one of the posts. Just reaffirming what was posted back in those threads.
How do you know June 28th?
They are not planning on laying off all of remote soon they are planning on laying off frontline remote June 28th . Eventually most of the remote positions in the US will be gone. The CEO has said he wants less remote jobs in 3 different town halls. It came from the horses mouth.
