Here’s this for marketing. TIAA should create a new financial account. If you are white then 5% of your pretax earning every paycheck should set aside and invested into an index fund. Once you reach retirement age, all that money should be given to people of color as reparations. That money can be used to fund college education to fit in with our CREF brand. … see this marketing shtick isn’t so bad , maybe they’ll make me the new CMO?

More layoffs in Marketing? That’s insane. At this rate there are like 10 people working in that organization. I just don’t understand how Mickey is able to justify these countless layoffs to the EC. This isn’t normal behavior and quite frankly makes it clear that she has no business leading that org.

It is a little worrisome that TIAA doesn’t have a single transgender executive. I’m not complaining because they do make sure people of color and non/cis folk have power, but I think our customer base would actually appreciate transgender representation

If there is a God (who would be genderless btw) then I for one hope to them that YOU haven’t reproduced and if you have than may the aforementioned god have mercy on your offsprings souls and everyone who comes into contact with you and your hateful ignorant family.

The bottom line is people like you are the ones destroying our country and don’t get me started on trump. Anyone who supports that clown after what he’s done with his companies and the country needs to get their head examined.

Maybe you can quit TIAA and go help his campaign or step up in his legal troubles. Apparently his lawyers don’t even know they can call anyone as a witness - oh and why didn’t he testify- oh that’s right he was sleeping in court.

Shameful to know we have to work with, around or for people who support him STILL and probably went to the capitol on J6 or would do so again should god willing he lose again or be in jail where he belongs.

Will never support him after he didn’t pay me or my father or any of our team for our tremendous hard work in NY in the 90s… despicable man and family they are.

To the person asking about what marketing does - everything you listed was an idea from an agency or T herself. An agency that is paid so many millions of dollars you would pu-e if you heard how much. And our CMO and CEO are choosing to bring in more agencies and layoff internal people doing the actual tangible work the company uses (email, social media, mailers, events, etc). That should hopefully put everything into perspective.

@1ngx+1sLyE5rx Agree on travel and offsite being ridiculous not just marketing but everyone going cray cray with offsites from March 2022- Dec. 2023 making travel extremely limited in 2024 and likely beyond…

But what is this about pizza parties?😮
I’d rather have pizza lunches than those M&Ms and cr-ppy trail mixes… at least the new coffee machines have better flavored coffee and other drinks.

Nonetheless the 3 day week in office is wrecking havoc on our health (+body clock/routines), wallets, and the environment… for what. “Collaboration”?…

I can count on one hand the number of days I actually sit with people at their desk or in a meeting room each month. One week I was the only one on my team in the office for 3 of the 5 days I went in, so obviously it’s just to track and use against us if under 3 days….

Everything is still via zoom (first and foremost) which is trash software when compared to MS Teams meetings/calls. There are far better communication tools out there, like even Google Meet is better.

I heard they are hiring another new agency to do all the work. Maybe if they utilized the talent they have and trust them we could come up with actual marketing campaign that show results and bring in new business. Also not sure how this is cost saving. Can’t wait for them to find out all the hide fees that comes with it. Marketing hire up just think TIAA is their money tree and they can spend whatever they want. The amount of off site and crazy outing this year has been ridiculous. While the worker bees have to come into office three days a week with a Lousy pizza parties. I can’t wait for worker bees to leave and there no one to do work. ✌🏽

Seriously. She always looks stressed out. I can’t wait for her to get fire because she laid off so many amazing talent. Which is going to take years find similar talent. This place is major sh-t show and they need to hand the keys to fidelity already we will never bet them at this rate.

It’s ridiculous. At what point does everyone realize its her fault? I’ve lost count how rounds of layoffs have occurred since she joined. Less than half the department is there, either laid off or job sent to India.
