Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

How much for that Tu-d in the Window?

Excuse me but your company has not achieved anything since it IPO-ed 10 years ago, how much do you want for a sinking ship made of manure?
Thanks Su-kers and Here Comes the Axe!

After Marathon’s assets fail to deliver the boost our fearless leaders anticipated, what’s the next plan?
Aside from more layoffs.

I would think both companies will have layoffs. They are not going to lay off all of Marathon employees. Might have early retirement and weed out the dead weight.

Layoffs will not follow any clear pattern and there will be no obvious logic behind them.
Get ready to explain to your kids why you’re suddenly sitting around the house eating breakfast cereal out of the box all day instead of at work.

Yeah you guys are picking up some super awesome people with this merger… hope you like the good ol boys club mentality. Unless y’all are smart and chop the head off the snake in each asset. Good luck

Most redundancy layoffs will be on MRO side right? I mean COP is the acquirer.

Some employees may do quite well with the new company if there is little overlap between the two companies in their business units.
