Clinton move prep

So the initial equipment checklists are done, with tagging for relocation now being done. Game plan is then June through September for survey teams to further review the tagged equipment with staff.

I don't know, but this sounds like a faster timeline for movement than three years...

Take a guess how many Clinton people end up relocating?
My guess is less than 50, including managers, NREs, and those that are unemployable outside of XOM

Unless you are later career and working for the pension, there is no up side to moving to Houston.

Agree with previous post that this is a planned reduction in workforce and they’ve already built in a 20-30% relocation with 1/2 to be PIPed in 2-3 years.

Also keep in mind that executives and higher CLs get offered better relocation packages. When Dallas relocated, the corporate plane was dropping people off at Conroe airport and private limos shuttling around the wives to house shop.

Annandale people are fuclced. The purpose of closing Annandale is to get rid of you, not for you to relocate. That's why the relocation packages are so poor. Good luck selling your fancy house in New Jersey. You're on your own with that one. Yeah, go visit Houston during the summer and fall in love with the city. But don't forget that northern Houston flooded twice and badly in May. Some areas had like five feet of water during the floods. And don't forget the two tornadoes that destroyed the area. One of them going through downtown Houston. The city's still cleaning the mess. And this week two major storms went through the area flooding everything again and dropping tennis ball size hail. Add to that the much lower level of education in TX high schools so your children get the education they deserve. And don't forget the shooting-at-will so your family can enjoy getting shot for any or no reason anywhere without a two week notice. And after moving you will be PIPed. All this suffering and Darren will finish fu--ing up your life by firing you through the rigged performance assessment. Guys, think very very seriously about this move. There's a lot of risk for you and your families. Good luck.

I am in the first phase supposed to be moved by June 2025, but from what I can see, we can finish the before end of this year. How about you guys in the late phases?
Btw, saw many coworkers got the "open to work" label on their LinkedIn picture

Most equipments are portable. The rest are process related equipment that will be redesigned, dumped, or taken over by a third party.

Probably a good decent amount of stuff will be moved out late 2025 or early 2026

The long timeline is due to the tank farms, pilot, and grease
