Is there even an area that hasn't been hit yet

“ Didn’t realize they were laying off the ROC in mass at this point. I knew they were outsourcing some of the PRS roles. Cost cutting is one thing but cutting it where customers have direct contact isn’t the smartest move.”
Long standing ROC employee here and the conditions are absolutely unbearable. They automated a large amount of the contacts to our Panelist to occur via a text bot (which annoys the ever living sh-t out the panelists) and we do not have the staff on hand to handle the mass influx of constant inbound calls. The inbound callbacks start as soon as you are available on the phones until the last second of every single day. Those that aren’t subjected to this type of workload will consider this moaning and groaning, but it is not for the faint of heart. I have and still am a top performing PRS and I’m at my wits end with the working conditions and mental duress from all of this. Our leader boasts of how this “improves the panelist tenure” but she is absolutely so far lost in the sauce and has chugged five gallons of the Nielsen koolaid it seems, which is insane considering she too was a PRS for a long time. Things are not good, and my mental health has never been more poor than it has been in the last few months.
Their decision to outsource to Mexico for PRS teams has been horrific for our American based teams, and we have zero communication with them. They are a part of our “team” but do not work together in the slightest bit; we do not have team meetings with them included, there is not PRS chat with them included; it is SO blatantly obvious they are going to start picking us off one by one and I’m sure I’ll be one of the first “chosen ones” as I do not mince my words when we are given the opportunity to be heard. Maybe I should do what everyone else is doing and get myself a doctor’s note to get some paid LOA for “mental health”.
Not to mention, they fired a good group of field representatives and field managers last month and sent ZERO communication about their selfish plan to lessen the boots on the grounds. Field reps are hurting and agonizing right now and no one sleeps well at this point with the uncertainty and dishonesty exhibited by this GOD AWFUL company. I hope the public and news sources catch wind and expose this company for their tactics and lack of respect for their loyal US based employees.
I’ll get off my soap box now.

We all know how we love to speak to someone with broken English in another country.

I'm d-mb I'm sorry
You might live under a rock if you didn't know over half of the ROC is already gone and several field managers, sample managers, and FRs have been laid off in the last month. Happy severance

Wait Audio only had 1 manager and TAM had a huge management restructuring... how is that possible? Audio is very TOP HEAVY!
Audio had 1 manager get laid off.
TAM was hit hard in the past, or this week?
TAM got hit hard….anyone know how bad AUDIO got hit?
Tomorrow is my last day.
My entire team is now gone. My boss is tap dancing and pretending Nielsen will “automate”, I can’t tell if he’s full of sh-t and knows the reality or playing the game. I used to trust him, as much as anyone can trust any boss. Now I barely recognize him.
I can’t say my department, it’s too obvious and I need my sad severance, so no details sorry.
I am personally worried. I have been looking for a job for a year, hoping to leave before this end. I guess every company is off shoring no matter how they describe it, that is what it is. This will financially crush my family..
No idea but I wish I was next at this point
I feel there are less ppl are on this forum now. ppl are out either willingly or unwilling, but either way, they no longer care this place
I suspect Audio will be doing more layoffs soon especially with Diary sample calling being paused
Does anyone know how to access our pay stubs? I reached out to everyone I can but haven’t gotten anywhere
does it really pay to work for a company that is 2 faced?
TAM FR and FR managers were hit hard about two to three weeks ago. The senior management in field TAM also got rearranged. Some left, and some took other positions. There is lots more to come in TAM this year. The corrupt private equity folks need to make a profit so they need to make the org as lean as possible.
I could be wrong but TAM (not audio) has not be hit this year. I believe they’ll be waiting for more TCS recruits before they begin eliminating members of the ROC. Maybe i’m wrong and they’ll be the next ones executed this week but so far it seems they are just being given more and more work to due as they continue to layoff members of other departments.
Only for those lucky enough to be shown the door and FORCED into the world of seeking new employment. It’s a MUCH better place to be than working for Nielsen.
