Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

OMG - We're done ... Allyship training.

Who else was assigned allyship training? First we spend a fortune for DTL and now this? These people are literally worrying about people's s-x lives more than the health of our network / ledgers. Lumen is now pushing CRT and woke ideologies on its employees. How about instead of focusing on this piece of garbage, we start focusing on building a better network and bringing in revenue to the company.

This training literally says that white men are the problem and have all the privilege. Personally, I don't care what you are, or what you pretend to be. He-l, pretend to be a woman, pretend to be a monkey, pretend to be a furry. I don't care. What I do care about, is that you do good work and bring in $$$ for the company.

Sinking fast ...

Being woke is a thing for Kate. There is a clown playground she likes to play in. Can't ding the dingbat for making such poor choices and the stock price reflects it.

Now to add to the list of reasons why Lumen is sinking fast. Got called out a few weeks ago for calling a local carrier the "local exchange carrier" OK what the he-l to they want me to call them?? I said in reply "Haven't they got better things to worry about than this???

I work for former Lumen EMEA and I have to say, Colt is just as woke. I mentioned Allyship training and "white privilege" to a Black friend who said "that is frankly ridiculous, they need to focus on avoiding chapter 11"..............can't disagree with that stamement!

The only strategy I see anymore is trying to become a top rated ESG company that gets investment dollars for following that insane protocol. Allyship training would be part of "S" in ESG score.

Gezzz. So glad I was in the November RIF. I got so sick of hearing numbers numbers numbers that stagnated place has turned into a loony tune cartoon. I will say the guys that where in my group that got the boot have all moved on and are making 25% plus over what they made there. I would think the cause of the problem there is the white privileged twit at the top.
