Rebadger Raises

Letters went out today informing folks of their new annual salary. After receiving the highest review rating possible, I have now moved into a higher tax bracket thanks to my six tenths of a percent raise. Drinks not on me. :)

I don’t think you understand the concept of marginal tax rate

Range was 0 to 2 percent. Most people got 0. HCL leadership told the SF account they need to cut cost and cut it quick.

If not for the EUC area, it never would've come out. They had a recent all hands meeting and unloaded on Kaye about it.

Funniest part of all of it, to me, is that the people who got a raise were also told it should've been effective 1/1, so now HCL owes all of them back pay.

For me, highest HCL rating possible and I got a 0% increase. Granted, my expectations were low, but not even a token amount to acknowledge my efforts. And this only 2 weeks after being told by the division manager we were key resources and our on-shore positions were safe. Another example of how NOT to keep people from leaving.

I got a zero as well ... Sooooo no more sharing or training people to take my place and no more overtime without compensation and no more being available 7x24 ... I am done!

I got a big fat zero. It's a great feeling to know how important we are to them.
