This year I have delegated 100 of my 2 minute employee performance summary to ChatGPT. I just copied and pasted whatever my reports wrote in their PDS forms and asked ChatGPT to make the summary for me. I have not read a single word they wrote, just regurgitated whatever ChatGPT wrote during the performance review meeting.

And guess what: every supervisor I speak to is doing exactly the same.

And guess what else: I feel completely unapologetic about doing this. The AI is summarizing whatever you wrote, I'm just reading it.

employee here, you don't have to chatgpt what i've chatgpt. but if you are doing it, thanks anyway. This just tells us that the ranking system still doesn't matter with whatever we do.

All PDS form output will be processed through AI detection software this year. It has 98%+ accuracy in detecting AI generated content. Two individuals were punished last year for using ChatGPT to generate PDS because they provided company info to an external system. Good luck for those of you who are actually doing this. Recommend you ask for your form back from your supervisor and make some adjustments prior to it being locked.

You seem like a great supervisor, should probably be promoted.
