ACI will disappear in 5 years
Market share is the main keyword I guess and the line it follows.
the market has spoken. ACI isn't for everyone. its still a solid solution, but some customers just don't have the brain power. so its no longer the 1 size fits all DC solution.
The fact that certain people are let go, especially those in higher positions, has nothing to do with the product but with the need for the company to reduce the salary numbers. These are high earners and we probably have more high earners than we should now that Splunk is a Cisco company.
When mergers and acquisitions happen and the product do not overlap the role duplication is higher in the higher echelons, hence the cleaning at the high level.
OP, get some rest buddy.
They need yo listen to Duffy so they can get ACi sorted.
there were layoffs. Even a VP was let go
Are you high or what. I am working with these products and we have more work than engineers inour team to do it
What are your statements baded on? Point us to some docs, numbers or whatever else supports what you are posting here.
Blame generations of terrible product managers. Several left to greener pastures but their legacy lives on.
Because it was contracted out to the lowest bidder.
