Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

UK layoff

With reunites about Fawley being sold, are you seeing EM doling out more NSIs and then trying to make people leave or laying them off? Is that possible in the UK or is it just Texas that hates employees

Unfortunately, Exxon is just another example of the corruption in big organisations. It's rife and basically the modus operandi.

Iindividual groups at refineries are asked to cut costs… so the pips continue. Its shameless and the British culture is very much akin to what you are seeing at the post office scandal… cravenly supervision and corrupt individuals…

When EM sells a location, I think historically the people go with it

Rumor coming from the site competitiveness surveys. Fawley isn't generating the returns needed.

Still waiting for the ranking feedback. See if there's lots more PIPS in UK. But UK employment law means employees must be made redundant at cost. The company cannot just get of people for free.
