The diversity, DE&I and GROW programs have always been a sham (including SSW and her circle) with hardly any promotions or TRUE internal employee growth among any of them.
The point of a COMPANY leadership development program is to develop the next round of leaders WITHIN the company, and when that is a failure so are the associated programs.
IMO these programs have been nothing but personal pet projects for their organizers to pad their own resumes, for saying they have "led company development programs" to bring more value to themselves and not the participants.
That with a pairing of the company needing something to buffer it's increasingly bad reputation as an employer as it navigates moving a majority of US jobs offshore, with that nearing completion now these programs and ties to DE&I will soon be gone.
On a positive note, wanted to say thank you to Nielsen, it's hedge fund owners and consulting firm for bringing an end to this miserable, toxic place of employment and useless company programs.
