Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Townhalls have become completely useless

When's the last we had one of our many relevant questions answered honestly and fully? Can anybody even remember? There's no point in going or watching them anymore since it's just some PR mixed in with damage control mixed in with mutual petting on the back among the higher ups. As I said, useless.

Yes this comment is true. I would pre-submit questions that, admittedly, are sometimes controversial. They never got read in the town halls. Moderators of Q&A portions of town halls are not willing to ask the "difficult" questions.

Even when I was with Pep I never attended the town halls. Always a total waste of time. Work from home on those days and slept in late. Same thing always for IT town halls. Them being a useless waste of time is not a new thing.

nothing worked for us in the Danville IL plant. they still closed the doors on 500 good employees. no appreciation for loyalty to big companies anymore. it's all about corporate greed and CEO's making big money.

Right on. It’s a pep rally at best for a sub-par team given the way things are running currently.
