I worked with Kris for several years, and know her to be about as honest, transparent, and straight shooting as they come. This is most definitely NOT fake news!
I always thought 3M was an ethical company until this all came out. This is a horrible story and the person who made the comment about it being fake news should be banned from this site. I had two close friends at our church whose kids died from cancer about 10 years ago. TWO! About a year apart. I never heard of any kid dying from cancer when I was growing up and two in the same area so close together. Just horrible.
No idea if it is related to PFAS, but still, the story sickens me.

Sat here reading every word as I follow PFAS as a news topic and saw it right away.
Just makes me so sick, there are no words.
I think about my neighbors here in Oakdale - an alarming number with obscure and rare cancers and I know it is not coincidence.
Then I reflect on the conversation I had with an American Cancer Society’s representative just days ago. She remarked how there was a bo-m of fundraising for their organization by kids in the 1990s/2000s/2010s because “so many kids here had cancer then before they started filtering the water”.
I wonder what will happen next. How long can this ship stay afloat. O
