Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

What's is going on with Baker Hughes 3C

What is up with 3C, the carbon capture company that BKR acquired in Nov. 2020? Are they doing any meaningful work or just goofing off while they wait for BKR to offload them?

On another note SLB just acquired a majority stake in Aker Carbon Capture.

SLB, HAL, and BKR may be "peas of the same pod" but BKR definitely slipping further behind in the rearview mirror of the pod. BKR goal now is just to fight off Weatherford and NOV to remain a distant tu-d, I mean third.

It was more of a lab than a company. Think it had less than 20 engineers? If they had lost the Norwegian gov. research grants, BKR probably has already laid off most of them and just kept the IP.

Not sure SLB bailing out another Norwegian carbon capture company really is a bad news for BKR.

3C and C3.AI show how data driven decision making can make high multiple returns with minimal investment. Brilliant maneuvers! Keep it coming Lorenzo, very exciting future.

Watch out for Weatherford as we might slip to number 4 quite soon.

BKR will always remain #3. Trying hard to promote themselves to #2 since the last decade, but always a let down.

SLB, HAL, & BKR - peas of the same pod.
