I am so sorry if you lost your job, none of us are safe with all the offshoring happening. If you were one of the ones, did you get a severance package?

Almost half of Wayfair is offshore. The US crew will be continue to shrink. Still thinking Wayfair will be sold by 2025. Someone said that they are being aggressive with ramping up offshore growth so they have low overhead.

From my understanding JLS is the company Wayfair is outsourcing service jobs to. Telus was recently brought on to work the digital sales roles previously filled by a different company OP360 who we ended our contract with. We do not have any offshore agents working in a phone sales capacity as of yet, but I would advise any remaining digital sales reps to start looking for a new job or prepare to be laid off as well or moved to the phones if you're lucky.

Is Wayfair offshoring jobs to two companies? I keep hearing about JLS and now Telus. I have heard that all customer service jobs will be going to JLS. Im in phone sales and I thought we were safe, we have been super busy lately. Its sad to see jobs get lost to offshore companies.

Telus will be taking over the sales jobs, more offshoring.

Offshore will be taking over customer service jobs. They give the worst expectations to customers, sh---y customer service. Frontline agents get the abuse from customers when nothing goes as planned. Now they are taking their jobs.

Correct. There are a few US agents left. IN another thread, it was mentioned that all US agents would be based in Athens, GA or Boston. That looks to be accurate reporting. Very sad day to those of us that lost our positions. We can only watch from the sidelines now to see what happens. Looking forward to the Q1 earnings call next month.....

While a lot of digital sales did get laid off, this layoff did not include all reps. I am sure this is only temporary while they scale up Telus' offshore reps to eventually push out all NA digital reps.
