Last 10 Years - TDC Stock Down 10%

How can a company be in the fastest growing segment of the industry and perform this poorly? Shame on the board and all the senior leaders during this time. TDC = The Dying Company

The CEO and the board have ONE job and that is to provide shareholder return to investors. They've failed to do this and as a result need to be removed. SM was never a good choice and you could see this on day 1 at how inexperienced he was and still is. He has surrounded himself with more inexperienced ELT and VP's. The place is a shambles and now wall st is figuring out how badly it is going for them.

They are in the hottest sector at the moment, but with declining revenue and customers it's evident that the company is in a death spiral.

Way more than 10%. Down 10.68 in ten years.

I doubt if Steve Jobs could save this dying company. Whatever they do now is too little too late. An apathetic board of directors, 5 non-technical CEOs, risk averse financial management, and a 20 year part-time CTO more interested in traveling and partying spelled doom for TDC.

None of the last few CEOs understood the industry or technology except for OR, and he was too inexperienced and emotional to run a company.

It's the whole LT, not just the CEO, that has absolutely NO CLUE how to run a tech company (other than into the ground). Name a significant product advancement (not some incremental tweak) that has occurred in the past 10 years and that has helped customers run their business. How many of the LT have actually used Teradata's core products (not some fancy front-end) to perform work?

Contrast that with the founders of the company who knew their product, knew their market, and knew the industry. Hmmm ... kinda grim comparison.

How is SM able to run Teradata into the dirt and still have a job?

Hey board, you could be making 10-100x what you're making now with a new CEO. It's ridiculous how bad Teradata is performing in an industry that's booming.
