Did he not mention merit increases on the fireside chat ? What about the bonus ?
Didn't Steve B say he had something you could SIP on?
"Any word on the SIP?"
No SIP.
Any word on the SIP?
"Don't know what SIP is but unless you're a manager who just got 15% bonus, there will be SHT this year."
Way more than 15%.
Don't know what SIP is but unless you're a manager who just got 15% bonus, there will be SHT this year.
Whatever the amount is, if it's less than 4% you're actually losing money vs inflation (in the US, can't speak for other areas). You'd need to get +6% to make any kind of limited headway.
For goodness sake, just leave
1 - More lay-offs coming
2 - Declining industry
3 - Below par benefits
Another 1% insult? How about 2%?
With the economy and inflation we are the working poor but consistently ask us to support groups outside in our community. There are people who work for us that are struggling and using the food banks.
I get beyond mad when I see that people new to the company after being here for xx plus years are walking in off of the street making what I make. How is that fair?
Unless you are aligned directly to the people on the favourite team, you won’t get anything.
XDS has their favourites and it’s in the management team, who I can’t seem to figure out what half of them do besides add zero value tasks to our plates and you only see them when the executive team is visiting. Boy, they have them fooled.
Being spent on Mexico for the club
"Why would we not it should have been calculated into this year’s budget. We got next to nothing last year we still need to keep up with today raising prices and be able survive on what they pay us"
Is this really a question? We have spend the last 5+ years moving work to low labor rate areas. Nobody cares about your bills. "in the budget" means nothing.
Cash conservation and P&L impact matter. And raises don't even matter if you don't work here.

Yes, you may sit and sip at your desk this year.
If “SIP” somehow stands for “Layoff”, then yes!
