I thought yesterday was it, but now I'm reading about more people being let go today. Does anybody know if it will be over today or will this be a week-long thing?

I hope you are right and that things work out for you. However reality is that the company is in trouble. Financially they are in the red. They are losing more business than they are taking in. They are selling clients things that they don’t plan to deliver. They are having layoffs on a regular basis without any communication about it to the employees. The employees getting laid off have been good employees with high performance reviews. They were good employees that did a good job. The company laid them off anyway. They all have families and spouses to take care of. Bills to pay.
I would just be careful thinking that doing a good job will save you from the machine.
Yes I do care for my Job I have a child to feed. Many of the folks on here don't seem to have kids or atleast kids that are under the age of 5years old. If anyone of you did; you would be freaking out. Like I work hard not because I want to or because I feel Like I will be valued and cared for. I SIMPLY WANT TO FEED MY CHILD END OF STORY. So have a heart and post useful news on this forum. By the sound of some of these posts it seems to be decrepit folks trying to hangout and ruin the chance for others who want to provide for their families. I care enough to make a stand and take action and participate what are you all doing to make the change instead of simply complain. I rarely ever post on her because it feels like a place to vent and trash talk leadership. Karma is one HELLUVA thing it will bite everyone. DON'T EVER THINK IT WON'T BITE YOU. SPREAD POSITIVITY AND YOU SHALL RECIEVE IT BACK. SPREAD NEGATIVITY... LAY IN THE BED THAT YOU MADE.

When Molina Medicaid was bought by DXC, all of the Molina leadership team was shown the door, voluntarily or forced. The only Molina folks left were workers who did not make decisions. Blame HP leadership for all the bad decisions

The best thing that could happen would be a bankruptcy. Exposing the unethical business practices. Removal of all leaders. And a buy out with a complete overhaul.
Without that this company will continue to su-k. Staying on at Gainwell is a stupid decision. It will just train you on how to be a bad employee.
Do we know what State accounts will be hit? So far I've only heard of Ohio and Wisconsin.

It’s no longer complacency if it’s brought to their attention. It is straight up poor leadership.
That’s how Gainwell runs. And it’s catching up with them. Losing business. Unethical business practices. Terrible leaders. It’s going g to co to he to go downhill.
The complacency among leadership as certain accounts approach go live when there are obvious glaring problems that the clients will call out is concerning, to say the least. People on the ground raise these concerns repeatedly, usually on deaf ears.
Welcome to Gainwell. It’s a shithole. It’s been a shithole since it formed as a company. It will continue to be a shithole as long as Veritas owns it and has sh---y leaders in place.
None of that is going to change in the foreseeable future.
Gainwell will be lucky to survive as a company for another 5-10 years. Unethical business practices will catch up to them. And there are too many greedy leaders at the helm.

Layoffs are ramping up. It is going to get ugly by the end of the month. Almost every department is being forced to shrink their headcount.

… When I was WFR’d I had just received a merit bonus and ‘exceeds all expectations’ annual review 1 month prior (similar reviews for 5 years straight before that). Don’t take it personally. It’s just a numbers game (and yes you just are a # to them). When you are seeking a much better employment opportunity, remember.. you got great reviews (download them if you can, before they revoke your access). They did you a favor. Now you aren’t stuck there anymore.

People get as far away from this company as you can. It would be so satisfying to see a mass walkout at Gainwell to protest the sh-t leadership from the top down.

Layoffs are going to continue through the month of March. They are no where near done. They are just getting started.
Some people are just not leaders, no matter what title they carry. Sadly, Veritas tolerated far too many of them for far too long. And they're still among us........
Yes, heard from couple of reliable sources that notifications for 3/31 layoffs have started this week.
Trouble makers were/are people who are good as individual contributors got into leadership positions and make bad/worst managers/Directors. That causes bad leadership when such people without enough management experience start leading others and bring down the company due to their poor mgmt decisions.
