Doesn't sound good when the incumbent CEO comes with a bad reputation. 3Mers good luck of you are still hanging on.

Looks like he could continue his ruthless. And unlikeable nature, and continue the yearly layoff tradition started by Mikey.

Copied from comparably review
:he has a 2.6 rating L3Harris Technologies' CEO, William M. Brown, has 137 employee ratings and a score of 56/100, placing them in the Bottom 15% of similar size companies on Comparably with 10,000+ Employees. When breaking the CEO score down by factors such as department, gender, and ethnicity, we see that males at L3Harris Technologies rate William M. Brown higher than females, giving the CEO a score of 57/100.

Most of the scientists have either retired or been laid off. Wonder how Bill is going to implement his R&D without breaking the bank?

Nope! Bill Brown is another Moni !! He gets into all sorts of silly details and was supposed to be a real pain to work with at L3Harris

Share price could have surged further up if Mikey didn't announce he is still hanging on as executive chair, and retires from 3M forever.

All the things Mikey tried to pump the stock price: 5 big B's to 4 big B's, Advance 3M, Selling Body Armor business, Acelity, Hiring Moni & Tireman, Selling Food Safety, Spin-Co, Un-advance 3M, Multiple visits to Jim Cramer, etc....

All he had to do was name a successor.

Adam Silverstein esq. would be a brilliant selection for Solventum CEO.

Let’s get all the regional reporters back to office! No more afternoon naps for those high levels!

I bet first change for new CEO would be to stop WYW. Everyone back to office and work on the bench for innovation.

I personally think more regular return to office guidelines should be put in place. Set days and minimum of 3 days a week. There is a huge benefit to being together on a regular basis.

Will new CEO scrap WYW and ask all employees to return office 100% to boost productivity?

This is great news for Vale. He was inexplicably forced out by a jealous MP. Harris is 61 and will need a seasoned vet like Vale to take remain-co to new heights.

He is an Engineer so he should understand how to simplify things, breakdown the beaurcracy that has become 3M. That and get rid of the phony leadership layers and fifedoms that is 3M and infests Finance and Supply Chain. Looking forward to all the empty heads and empty suits leaving. A fresh set of eyes will see how many so called leaders are just managers with no value to add and no field or product expertise. Maybe product development, sustainability and design will mean something again at 3M and Innovation a thing again. No more fake, BS artist. I'm beyond optimistic the buddy train of blood su-kers is done.

At least he is willing to invest in R&D - so he says anyway

Now they need to get rid of the Tireman…

I’m going to say no. He said some of the typical stuff of being about people, employees, customers, etc. CEO has been saying the same things while cutting and outsourcing and failing customers for years now, so I have no room for optimism- it feels like company leadership has to prove and earn trust back before the courtesy of optimism can be granted.

Serious question.

Is Vale at home in a darkened room listening to ‘Careless Wisper’ on repeat?

‘It could have been me!!’

‘He’s sitting in my chair!!!’

New CEO appears to be focusing on R&D, that’s a good sign. It ought to be better than before.

Cautious optimism. He worked for McKinsey early on in his career, per Business Wire.

I want to be hopeful but - pulling a retiree in his 60s back from the bullpen - not exactly forward looking.
