Just submitted the paperwork and it’s a relief. Bonus and bail.
I’ll miss some folks a lot but this has been needed for a long time.

I left November. Notice given and still got my bonus hahahaha. Best decision I ever made and glad I did not have wait for bonus time to leave. God is good.
To think I actually wanted to stay just a year ago. Started job hunting last June (when back door layoffs began) and finally found something that’s not a lateral move. (Although higher compensation yet a lateral move was available a few times) Looking forward to washing my hands of this company while they attempt ? lol, at damage control. Layoffs are happening everywhere, I get that, but they don’t have to and I wanted to find a company that makes the choice not to. Going to have to let those worthless stock options go. Oh no.
I am a lifer at Schwab. Will be working here till I retire, provided I dont get layed off before then. Can’t do anything else. Don’t know how to do anything else. Lifer.
