Vulture Capitalism at its finest, sure East Palestine is fine, so is Graniteville, Lehigh Valley was no big deal either, just spilling diesel into a river right? Or supervision with a proclivity for paid women of the night? Just remember we all don’t contribute to profits the next time you need to make a railroad related decision.
Sad thing is there are a couple TM's and YM's there that can move freight like it's nobodys business but their hands are tied and they are forced to railroad off reports and crazy formulas. PSR is alive and well, and it aint going anywhere. Too much greed, way above the division levels. I think anyone below the GM level is just trying to make it to 55 and anyone that level or higher is just sitting back and wondering when to pull the cord on that golden parachute. Maybe it'll get better. Every now and then I see a light around the corner.
401k’s were supposed to be a supplemental source of retirement. To have a pension and a 401k . Hedge funds have changed the dynamics in the past 30yrs . Now it’s about a quick buck . Unfortunately greed is good and our infrastructure is going to pay the price . Now some folks a 401k is their retirement and ultra wealthy use the market to get ultra rich 🤦🏼♂️ 8yrs and I’m done …

It wasn't that long ago we have an operating ratio of like 85 and we made so much money it was pathetic. Now here we are.
