VP was asked to provide a list of employees to cut for end of month lay-offs and told her boss she's done. This will be a big loss to Gainwell and an amazing gesture by one of the few "leaders" that remained.

Should have laid off all these useless executives
It is a pain … hoping Veritas sells Gainwell to better owners. Mass layoff then should include all those who earn lot more than their roles deserve!!
I just detest going to work each day for Gainwell.
We are all sc--wed if we stay.
Directors and VPs make a boat load of $$$. My concern is for folks at lower level making fraction of VP/Dir salary and will be let go soon.
VP in this case chose an easier route to quit instead of dealing with layoff mess.

Starts with a K? They moved heaven and earth to make her stay a few moons ago

Her leaving doesn’t protect the team.
They will still be laid off.
But good for her for refusing to be part of it.
Sadly it won’t matter.
The layoffs will still happen.
Now they will be selected by someone less informed.
