Thread regarding W.B. Mason layoffs

Exit interview

Now, that, every penny owed to me has been paid out, it is time to post my thoughts on WB Mason, and especially the “leadership“ team, running it. I note the word leadership in quotation marks, as it must be used extremely loosely when referring to this company.
When one thinks of the word “leader“ they think of integrity, respect, compassion, and fostering a collaborative culture, that both inspires and motivates individuals to be the best they can be. Sadly, these components couldn’t possibly be more absent at WB Mason.
After leaving WB Mason, and working a short time now for a world-class organization, I couldn’t possibly be happier. It has also allowed me to derive the best possible words to describe WB Mason.
Those are… “toxic” and “amateur hour“.

Many of the every day business practices at WB Mason blatantly cross the unethical line. From commissions fraud lawsuits to knowingly selling fake N95 masks, this company consistently gets caught showing its true colors. Making up phony sales rep names like “Mary Black“ to move customers to, just before a rep gets paid commission on an order… What an honest and professional manner in which to conduct business!
The culture is one of fear, driven down in dictatorship fashion, and is… well, quite pathetic, and extremely unhealthy. It’s mind-boggling the type of behaviors exhibited by the Meehans actually occur, and almost as bad, the individuals on the receiving end accepting to be treated in the manner they are treated.
There are zero initiatives for improvement. Zero. Actually, ideas to better the company are not only frowned upon, but “leadership” actually scolds employees for even mentioning them. Yet another embarrassing example of the current toxic environment on vivid display at WB Mason.
I will admit, there are still a handful of good people there. And these are the ones I sincerely hope will realize that they, like me, are too good to waste another day at a company that will eventually fail due to its horrible culture and “leadership“.

I will close by stating that Miss Creehan is easily the most toxic individual I have ever had the misfortune of crossing paths with in my 30+ years in the business world. I can’t imagine going through life needing to yell and scream at decent people, YOUR people, in order to feel good about oneself. Classic Napoleon syndrome on full display, and insanely destructive to the company. Luckily, many of the people on the receiving end of these childish ego-rants, ignored him, just as I did, knowing he wasn’t worth a second of their time or energy.
Thank goodness for being able to ride the coattails of his successful big brother. Otherwise, CM would be a giant nobody.
I can’t possibly think of an individual more deserving of the inevitable failure that WB Mason will experience once the competition devours them and the company implodes.

So, to the remaining non- lapdogs, I offer this advice… rather than su-king up every ounce of the toxic Kool-Aid being served by the Meehans, show some integrity and character and save your career NOW and find a new professional home to move on to. One in which you will actually be valued, respected, and treated humanely. It will be the best move you ever make. Trust me.

One last thing, CM….. the Karma Police are coming. Soon. And they always deliver what is deserved.

CM also reportedly dumped a pitcher of beer over the head of a branch manager for disagreeing with him on something.
Unhinged, classless POS.

MRCM.
So you think we're crying babies? You must be a manager for the owners who won't leave this verbal abusive company run by owners who steal commissions from their sales representatives because you'r afraid of the real world, you are a Stepford Wife, a weak, beaten employee who's being taken care of because you are their mouth piece. Shame on you.
Shouting at employees was a constant there, I heard many of them, shouting at employees is a real NO NO in the work environment today, but there's no real HR there, just HR puppets on a string dangling, waiting to to have their strings pull.
How many other lawsuits have been settled over the last twenty years?
From the Teamsters battle to the class action victorious lawsuit that was settled for nearly $6 million that should have been a whole lot more, there are a ton of them.
How many 2300+- furloughing loyal employees have been called back to work?
How many would like to go back to this horrible company?
Drinking and rampant dr-g use at Foxwood's was commonplace.
Your fancy commercials really don't show how dark this company really is.
So nobody is crying about not being at Masons's any longer, we're happy to be away from this horrible company.

If the readers agree with me, please acknowledged by just replying one word.
Yes
Maybe you will feel better if you do so.

So MRCM, we're not crying, but toasting our next drink to being away from that insane asylum, to the lower duly earned sales commissions that were stolen from us monthly, from being in fear of being the next person to be yelled at, to being that next person who went home crying from being yelled at.
That was the only crying that was going on at Mason's. From being yelled.
Being yelled there at is a badge of honor now. No one at my replacement job from Mason's yells at anyone. It's only pens and pencils MRCM. Get over yourself's will you?
Congrats to all the many sales employees who received past due stolen commissions in the Tri state law suit. I heard it was over 150 sales representatives.
I know I enjoyed my share of the money.
But the "agreement" was much better.
Hopefully, those other 10 states will go after them in a commission lawsuit.
Please tell us more about Mary Black.
So whoever at MASON'S THAT WROTE THAT WE ARE CRY BABIES, PLEASE BE MORE ARTICULATE AND TELL US WHY YOU THINK WE ARE CRY BABIES.
ALSO WRITE TO US AND EXPLAIN WHY NO ONE WANTS TO BACK TO MASON'S WHO WAS FURLOUGH AND PROMISE THAT MASONS WOULD BRING US BACK.
BECAUSE YOUR A WEASEL, THATS WHY.
Good riddance.

do some basic math:

  1. 6 million for 3 states. ny, nj, pa

states not covered in the lawsuit: 10.
maine, mass, ri, vt, ct, delaware, virginia, dc, maryland , florida .

10 x 5.6 / 3= 18.6 million

probably higher since there were more reps in old traditional masonville .

Imagine how much money they stole from the sales reps in the states that did not have the laws in place to protect the reps from the thief’s AKA the Meehans.

Mary Black
Louise Brown
Are there MORE fake names?
Is this really going/was going on?
Are these fake non human sales reps names?
How long has this practice been going on? IS THIS LEGAL?
Was this going on before and during the commission law suits in the three states that WB Mason settled on?
If true, how can you take duly earned commissions from a sales rep and transfer them to fake non human sales representative?
Somebody has to be making this stuff up. No company would do this even this company.
If true, Karma is a bi--h
