A few people have been placed at other plants. Some are assigned to demo. Small crew Supervising installs. We were told a month ago there would be regular communication meetings. Nothing has happened since. At least 25% of the salaried team is having coffee all day at picnic tables. No idea what their future is. Make a decision either way. Package us out or make room at other plants. Sitting around knowing nothing is getting more difficult with each passing day.

I wonder which VP is taking credit for this complete debacle? Salaried people sitting around at picnic tables which no idea what their future is. I hope he tells his kids how proud he is that people are our most important resource. Nice legacy to leave for yourself.

Four weeks from shutting down and the salaried team has no idea what their future is. How sad that HR has decided that people really don’t matter.

What was announced at Oakville? I thought they also had new product coming to that plant (Explorer EVs) ?
