Ok I’m laying this all out because the site is anonymous- I got an exceeds and got 100% of my target bonus. This company is treating everyone too disparately and EC/Senior Leadership for some reason is he-l bent on making everyone feel unhappy to work at Schwab. I dont know wth they are trying to do, but they are too smart for this to be unintentional. I’m grateful for what I got, but I cannot stay in a place where the top are a bunch of sadists. I’ve started job hunting and am out after getting the bonus. Will need to figure out how to do this without burning bridges with my leaders though. They’ve obviously got my back.

Not sure how long I’m going to hang on tho… once outside of our team (where we all try to keep each other’s morale up) we’re met with malaise (at best) and toxicity (the norm).

Didn’t even get 72% and the same for merit. Yeah probably sold mine off to get better for others. May not be worth it but there are still about 150 RSU/Stocks waiting to vest. Eh, time will tell. For now gonna stick with it, just because the company is down doesn’t mean it can’t get better. He-l my last company was almost delisted prior to my layoff and they can screaming back.
Others in your org or business unit got shorted to fund yours. It’s how it’s always worked, you myst have been a good performer and they want to reward you for it. Which I think is ok, but the problem is it results in low numbers for solid employees who may not get an exceeds rating.
Good on you. Do you know about others in your group? It would make sense for WM to be courted. Tech and a couple other groups are getting beaten up.
