Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Who is is at the helm

Is it AM, ML, or is it really ST? Seems the latter is the one pulling all the strings atm.

ST is ALWAYS running around whispering. Acting like she has some insider knowledge and, "you too can be part of her bubble" if you kiss up and play along. It's a personality disorder of sorts that requires she collect honor from people by claiming to have information that they will want. This has been going on for years. The only common denominators are

  1. It's constant. No matter the year. The month. The day. ST is in the "in" and she is claiming to be a puppet master with ultimate power and absolutely MUST inform others so they are always aware of how important she is...
  2. Circular Nothingness. It never goes anywhere. No matter how many "insider scoops"/ threatening & bullying our way to success or change of C Suite Characters....she is running around the same circus circle saying the same stuff and she never drives us toward anything.
  3. Always punitive. Have we ever seen ST do anything without having to get someone in trouble? Without call a boss? Without Striping down someone's credibility? At what point do people realize that always having someone else to blame is NOT leadership?

It's no longer laughable that she continues this game. It's pitiful that it is allowed.

I overheard ST telling some of her people that AM was going to get the heave ho soon from our owners and ML would take over. She was positioning herself as close to ML whilst they were both in UK. So tired of this behaviour from ST. Doesn’t Alan realise who he can trust? It’s maddening because for the first time ages I feel like we are on good footing. He is a solid guy and has brought in very sharp people from his Vonage days. One of our customers keeps singing the praises of the product head.

Avaya has a long history of folks coming in believing they have "arrived" and that they are owed advancement behind the job they have that they are already under qualified for.

  • ST
  • ML

And even tic Tok wanna be's. It's what Avaya always attracts.

I am really tired of it. We've suffered for waaay toooo long with ST smugness and her self advancement politics. ML just makes me laugh as she has zero idea that we've all seen this movie before and can spot her from a mile away.

My biggest issue with ML is she always talks about being on the Bpard and not that she reports to Alan and that she has the personality and magnetism of a cardboard cup. Everyone else on the exec team does that. The guys Alan brought in from Fonage are exceptional, especially the guy leading the product house.

It's a commonality of religion and lifestyle. Alan is very respectful person. He appreciates and values all lifestyles on the rainbow. She has both a lifestyle preference and a shared religion.
She hit the jackpot with Alan. He is kind. Respectful. And honorable.
Now she has not earned that. She just kicked out because Alan is a stand up guy.

Hmm, she wouldn’t put in process to control things? If AM stopped abruptly, ST would be wearing him like a hat.

What does she have on AM? A CD on texts of some sort?

Perception is not always reality. New players in will draw the curtain back sooner rather than later. A controlled narrative can only go on for so long.

Pity the fool who trusts ST. She has never built anything, yet runs around as if she is cited along with Jeff Bezos for creating the cloud market.

Indeed. Control. Manipulate. Berate.
Never ever lead. Inspire. Or guide.
Control. Always control.
