Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Layoffs update

What’s the scope so far? I see it's happening across the board. Any safe havens?

If you have a backbone, logic, or common sense consider yourself on the chopping block, these are not the skills they want or value.

Xerox wants "yes" people AKA Butt Kissers no actual skills needed =/

Most that are left now are either skater, slackers, or clueless (at all levels). Just look around. Been this way for too long. That's why we're in this position. This is the corporate version of idiocracy.

One of the incongruous issues, is they let go of solid people while keeping some serious dead weight, in the same groups. This is after the "serious consideration" boiler plate in the emails. I understand how restructuring works (yet if you are as astute as you claim, the restructure wouldn't have been necessary), but it should still make sense.

I personally know several curent and past employees. Some gave al, all gave some. Then there are/ere the ones like at Kodak, wholearned to skate. They helped to bring the Company to where it is today. Only problem is, they aren't the ones who get it. They have learned how rise above it by a-s kiising their way through. Too bad, my take is Xerox is on the way of Kodak. It will soon be a skelaton of itself. Having a union has been both good and bad. Too many slackers ruining the Company. "Nuff said.

Restructure in Florida. Leadership finally wised up to demote an ops director that did not belong. Question is how long does he stay. We applaud the move, it was overdue.

The people who are running the company into the ground are completely safe of course. Outsource everything to India, give yourself a huge bonus, rinse, repeat until you either sell the company or it goes bankrupt.

No one is safe unless you’re on the exec committee.
