When you resign at BC does the company let you work out the two or three week notice or do they shut off system access and kick your A-- to the side of the street?

You dont need to tell the company where you are going
In this day an age, a company reference is only going to confirm that you worked there.
Nothing more.
As companies have discarded any respect shown to employee loyalty with mass layoffs, the employees should likewise reject any notion that a notice and wind-down period is something that should be done.
