Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Strategic Cost-Saving Measures to avoid layoffs.

Save as much as you can to protect positions from layoffs. That's the instruction from upper management. They are aiming to conserve cash flow and potentially avoid layoffs. Therefore, be mindful of expenses and consider delaying or renegotiating payments if possible for the upcoming months. This will help the company alleviate financial pressure and improve its liquidity position.

It's not BS. CommScope are terrible as it is for paying their vendors or suppliers. They do anything to avoid sending payments on time. Not at all surprised to see that posted here.

Will Chuck and Kyle be taking pay cuts as well?

A few people in Shakopee have already met with HR, and they are talking about unpaid time off and salary cuts. Add that to coming back to the office 5 days a week.

One thing CommScope does great at is not paying vendors or suppliers on time! It's gone on too long now they want to push use of that tactic out further.

So will this saving mean no bonuses for those remaining employees who have taken on workload of 2,3 or more colleagues who have been laid off. Will this saving mean, yet another year of pay freezes? Could accept it in short-term except bet your bottom dollar slt and senior management are still feathering their nests .its not just the money (although with high inflation ,be nice to see CS consider this).money wasted for years and no accountability until the 11th hour when too late. We all know its continous layoffs for rest of the year

Agreed, this is all BS. The most expense for any business is labor and overhead. The management indirectly to tell layoffs is going to continue, all will be doomed! No matter you save a penny, layoffs is always on the table, that save penny will go to upper management bonus!
