Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Bigger March layoff

There will be additional March layoffs along with the elimination of the ROC team by 3/31.

Exact volume is being determined currently. But it is estimated to be at least 250.

I was let go this morning.

I’m glad it’s finally over.

This is the worst company I have ever worked for.

Everyone needs to leave. No one should take a job at Gainwell willingly.

Hearing of some layoffs today. Looks like it is beginning.

Sounds like they will continue until the end of the month.

Msg from GW-India - whoever commented about ex-Molina was spot on! Greedy selfish total pile of cr-p describe themselves as the so-called experts - they are just who do nothing but secure their jobs and act as if they are suffering!!

Get lost - rest of us are paying to clean up after you in OH and other accounts…like we do to pick up doo-doos of our pets. Have some shame and integrity to resign now instead of waiting to let go - remember your $$$ earned without integrity will be lost the same way! Just resign and give way to others.

Zen is right. There is going to be a big layoff before fiscal year end, which is 3/31.

I refuse to put any effort into this company. It’s not worth even trying to be a “good” employee. It will do nothing for job security. Gainwell has such little value for employees that everyone is worried every single day that they could be laid off. And the best part is that Gainwell has such little value for you that they don’t even mention layoffs. They have never mentioned layoffs since becoming a company. Zero explanation to the employee. That’s how much value they have for you.

Zen is right…heard from account leadership that we have certain numbers to meet by this FY24 end (March end).
There will be job cuts and those who survive will end up doing 3 or 4 people work and clean ip debris. They will be fed leftovers.
Best option is to look for next gig…plenty of options in healthcare space. Put your resume out there and start taking interviews from tomorrow…best of luck!!

We spend our technology careers jumping from companies that go offshore, to land in companies that are going offshore…

Outside of the insular world of Medicaid contracts, IT jobs have always been outsourced. To think it would not happen to you would be arrogance (and foolish). Still lots of dead wood on accounts to be chopped.

I think we should just get used to layoffs every month. Threat to our jobs at all times.

It’s sad that the leaders are a constant threat to the company and to all employees.
