RTO, taking away benefits and quality of life= Quiet firing

They want us to quit. Don't get it twisted.

EC members get raises and stock options. The rest of us get a toxic workplace and less benefits while getting shackled in a small cube

Our modus operandi is long established.

Generally undesirable conditions including RTO, crowded offices, low increases, boring work, absurd governance, best work to new external hires and mindless processes.

After that, target older or higher paid workers, anyone with medical concerns, those who don’t kiss a-s properly (ain’t enough to pucker) and give them poor reviews and contradictory instructions.

If they don’t leave then move to coaching memos, warnings and harassment. Bad mouth them to others. Make it impossible.

Search previous posts here for instructions to fight back. You have to decide if it’s worth it. But far better to have options and influence on outcome. A few have played with them for so long managers are gone and they continue stick around. Some get payouts for wrongful termination. Documentation can give you power in negotiations and litigation. And beating bullies feels good.

Just remember. It is not you. You’re good enough. You’re smart enough.

I was d-mb a decade ago. Pushed to do it all. A golden child who got new projects, shares and accolades. I’m not being attacked as much as some. But so many have fallen around me I’ve no trust and see here as a schoolyard that will eventually come after me too.

Good luck.
