Can't speak to specific job responsibilities/roles across MPC but am able to state with over 35 years in my career and over 25 years in refining/power/o&g, MPC's compensation structure (salary, annual increase, bonus) is not attractive for anyone other than those beginning their working careers. Experienced folks are not going to pursue MPC unless they happen to "know someone" who's able to make certain that an appreciable employment offer is made. With my current career experience level, currently, even much smaller owner/operators provide a much more attractive compensation package.

Also, if MPC is a terrific place to have a career with why are you on the MPC sh-t talking board?

Tired of the complaints… MPC is a fantastic company to have a career with. If you don’t like where you work, you can leave anytime.

You think people aren’t leaving MPC? They definitely are. Even now. Right before bonuses.

Who’s running off and where? Just BS you tell yourself. Company pays better than most. Quit and find out for yourself.

Marathon is running off all the best and brightest with these pi-s poor raises, the ones left will be happy to take an annual two shilling raise. Marathon saves money and the work force goes down the toilet.

Proud to be MPC!
