Which organizations have shared service centers? Finance? HR? Procurement? Will they build a CTC in India?

The very low level tasks are fine to outsource but like PSCM wants to push even category management and higher level project mgmt functions to SS. It doesn’t work well for many operations so people at the assets end up doing the work anyway and fixing all the problems . It’s a total joke .
Most functions have presence at the shared service centers. P/SCM has in both, more of the transactional stuff out of Manila and more complicated scopes out of Buenos Aires. The talent in BA is great, but they can't keep people long enough as inflation is crazy and the culture there is to job hop. Something we have to look into if it's going to work long term.
Please explain logic for saying the dissolution of CTC would be ridiculous? I am sure there are many who will interested in your answer. Or maybe the dissolution would be ridiculous asan example of the inflated arrogance of many CTC members in thier mediocre abilities.
Look forward to answers.

CTC will not be dissolved. That’s ridiculous.
It's a long time since I was classified as "young" punk or otherwise.
I guess my comment hurt someone!
The old ETC used to have some world class talent worth the money they cost, sadly all those folks were pushed out by young woke punks.
I can name 2 current CTC folks who are worth what they are paid and they are both in the same discipline.
Being a smart a** and arrogant with out experience is why CTC will be dissolved.
1coa Why you young punk!
Yes.
Based on my own personal experience with CTC, I would rather take the Indian contractor designed spacecraft.
Shame but fact CTC are just hopeless and arrogant.
You can outsource low level labor intensive activity like finance and IT but nothing CTC does is outsourcable. You get what you pay for. You want to go to the moon on the Apollo spacecraft or one cobbled together by an Indian contractor at half price?
Funny you should ask…
No need to build one in India. Just relocate CTC to Singapore, plenty of Indians there.
Shell tried a CtC center in India. It was an utter disaster.
