Who would buy Discover's student loan portfolio? I hear it's for sale but that Nelnet is doing the servicing. And how much does Discover turn these into SLABS? Isn't it a risk not to collateralize them?

It’s for sale but not sure if firms will jump on it. It’s littered with CFPB and other regulatory issues. Not to mention servicing systems problems. Wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole.
