I used to work at Dolores and the last good manager left there 5 years ago. Probably about the same everywhere.

Managers should all be furloughed they are useless to have around
UP has got rid of all managers that were effective and replaced them with Yes Men. Managers now only do what they are told from the glass place.
My Manager is great. Then again, UP furloughed me and I got a new job with a great company. The managers I had at UP really su-ked, however. Doubt any of them could even get an interview where I work.

Not here! My manager is useless. He really doesn't know what he's doing at all. He's definitely a true company man though. He will not miss a single moment to bury his nose in upper management's a$$, and then he questions why many people under don't like or trust him.

Mine seems to make job harder than what it really is. Like he can't stand that our location runs smooth. Lost all respect for the guy.
We have a pretty decent working relationship with managers at my shop. None of them are mean or disrespectful toward us. They're just trying to make it through this misery like the rest of us. The ones hired from the outside are pretty clueless though.

Out of 7 managers I've worked for, only two where actual decent humans. The one I got now, is so worried about HIS bonus, he could careless about anything else. Dude couldn't lead a trail of ants!
I do not, and there are not too many people at my facility that do, including other managers.
