Even among ex-Molina OR ex-HMS colleagues only a few are corrupt - especially those who make very high bucks. North of 150K.

There are no old companies.

Just Gainwell.

Just Gainwell employees.

The current Gainwell practices, procedures, way of doing business, and leaders is the reason the company is in the toilet. It has nothing to do with some ancient company that doesn’t exist anymore.

Just because you are against these old company employees isn’t reason to blame Gainwell’s problems on them. Gainwell is in the driver’s seat. Not some old company employees.

You can’t move on from all the old companies because Gainwell has no culture. In a void people will revert to their tribes.

I’ve heard the Molina people are excellent.

Isn’t it time to move on past all those other companies that once were? It’s Gainwell now. No one cares about those other companies or who someone used to work for. It’s not all those other companies or one of those companies fault that Gainwell su-ks. It’s the unethical leaders and cr-p parent company Veritas. Get over all those old companies. Start placing the blame where it belongs.

Totally agree with @7fmr+1raxqhVp. Those ex-molina emps were way overpaid to begin with and got even more so under the incompetent prior administration. Hope they are sticking out on the reports for cost cutting.

F—k ex-Molina employees. They must be let go to save Gainwell.

Tell me One reason to hold onto those employees who are self centered and hoard knowledge that acquired working on the same thing over and over for 15-20 yrs!! Selfish bad employees

Amen, with the previous post!! Especially those individual contributors who are just floating around fixing the issues of their own making. For example, OH mess was created by ex-Molina ppl who need to be put to task and laid off.
Most Molina ppl are diehards and do not like to share/train anyone to their level. They are too busy securing their own jobs and making big bucks easily!

People earning close to and more than 175K+ need to be laid off.

I think the point here is that the CEO is failing to make Gainwell look good. Still losing more business than they are taking in. In a financial crisis. Trouble at every account. Trying to sell Ohio as the model state when it is failing.

If any potential buyer were to know any of that they wouldn’t touch this place.

Yep the CEO is a failure along with all the forward thinkers. They need replaced or we will continue to sink.

The CEO was hired by Veritas to make this steaming pile look good to the next su---r clueless enough to buy it. All the other “forward thinkers” support this 100% and will be rewarded after the sale is made.

Unless GWT goes back to interchange, things will continue to decline. There is no support for their product offering because there are not enough trained staff. Molina diehards keep everything tight to their chest and refuse to train anyone but their friends and leadership allows it to continue to happen on account after account. How many people have they hired that sit around doing nothing because no one will train them? They will run this company into the ground thinking they are protecting their own job security. Shame, shame, shame. Take one look at Ohio. This is the model account? If you aren’t looking you probably should be.

Sacking CEO is not easy as they usually come with a minimum fixed term contract of a year or two. GW employees must unfortunately suffer the consequences of leadership decisions. It is gonna be a rough ride - buckle up to get laid off soon. Inevitable mass layoffs in FY25 starting in April this year, as current and projected revenues (with no net new contracts) do not justify carrying costs of 12-13K+ employees. Do the math!!

Oh yeah this upcoming town hall is going to be full of lies and brainwashing tactics just like all the others. Think about it.

They bragged about the CA PHM account that they landed. Shortly after it imploded and Gainwell was fired from the account. Gainwell delivered nothing in almost a years time.

They brag up OH SPBM as the model of success. Ask anyone on that account, it is barely getting by and is suffering from penalties of missed SLAs. And this is the model account.

All the successes are actually failures. And they don’t mention the true failures of accounts that are lost.

Gainwell is in serious trouble. But those leaders don’t want you to know it. Because they need warm bodies in seats until they can replace you with something cheaper.

The list of struggling accounts is so much bigger than what is listed in this thread. Nearly EVERY account is struggling with a CAP or missing SLAs or relationships. If every account has a problem then that is a global issue. And any global issue is definitely the CEOs problem and fault. What else is his job for? To pretend to know what he is doing? Leaders like that have to produce results. The current ceo has not slowed or stopped the loss of business. Has not increased business being brought in. Has not improved the financial crisis. Has not corrected the unethical practice of over promising and under delivering.

It’s definitely a CEO issue. The guy needs canned immediately. And the leadership team that surrounds him is just as at fault as the CEO is.

Just continuing to do what we have always done isn’t working.

He is attempting to fire as many US workers as possible and offshore to India. And how is that working for everyone? This may eventually help the balance sheet but it will be at the cost of delivering even more poor quality.

Gainwell is about to go off a cliff. And their behavior is clear. They have no use or care for the employee.

Why are all those projects struggling? Those can’t be the CEO’s fault

Gainwell continues to overpromise to get the contract and then underdeliver. They can’t burn 50 bridges and expect to stay in business. There are only 50 states.

They have a massive fire on their hands and no plan of how to put it out.

Current ceo needs fired. New one needs hired with an expectation that they need to produce a plan of how to get the company out of this situation that includes a realistic timeline. Without this kind of approach the fire will just get bigger.

And none of the employees are firemen.

Previous post is spot-on. Here are some facts (not just rumors) -
CA PHM/DBO - client unhappy with delays and opportunity loss as projects are stretched out 6 months or more from committed go-live dates
OH issues continue to be penalized and loss making account.
TX go live delayed - again a GW loss
FL paused - revenue loss
KY overloaded - loss (not within budget)
CAPs in multiple accounts due to ongoing Ops issues
Heard DC contract is only partially with GW revenue-wise and MT is not yet signed - not sure if it will come to GW without overcommitment.

Not exactly. The last CEO su-ked so he was removed. The current one was hired to fix the financial crisis that Gainwell is in. Yes he is firing people by the hundreds. And offshoring jobs. But the financial crisis continues. More business is being lost than is being gained. If that grand continues Gainwell is sc--wed. Bankruptcy will happen and massive layoffs will happen. He was hired to correct this financial crisis. And he is not succeeding.

The CEO was brought in to do exactly what he is doing… reducing costs/headcount onshore and ramping up GW India. Either way, it all su-ks.

Nearly every single account is having issues. They are on a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) or they are not meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or they are not getting along with the client. All of these things are having a huge financial impact to Gainwell. Gainwell continues to lose more business than it is taking in. Now we are reducing our footprint in the US and ramping up in India. A restructure yet again amongst leadership. Constant layoffs. Town Halls that fill our heads with untruths. Leaderships failure to admit that the company is sinking fast. Selling clients things that the company has no intention of delivering. Operating in an unethical manner.

This is a clear recipe for failure.

I’m truly in utter amazement that employees aren’t leaving in droves.

It doesn’t matter how long the CEO has been here. If you are terrible why keep them around?

The longer they keep him the more bad decisions he can make.

Hahaha. What a joke. Nothing but smoke and mirrors. Lies and more lies.

Yep it’s a brainwashing session for all those people that want to su-k up to the leaders.

I think it’s time for a new CEO.
