Does the company have issues? Most certainly as most companies do. My advice if you are this unhappy then leave but stop taking a paycheck and then complaining about the company paying you. But at least get your facts straight
The AIP is fully earned as of 3/1. So yes, you could leave and it would be fine. It's also prorated if you leave before 3/1, so you would get most of it.
Yep. Don’t quit until the check is deposited. Then go somewhere better.
Why chance it? Stick around another month if you are vested to get your match.

that assumes you are not giving your two weeks. Just quit on the 15th and don’t show up.
nope. payroll will already have processed the ACH. they can’t take it back.

Leadership should be held accountable for employee retention...it's about time! Employees have nowhere to go to report inept because as HR once said to a question asked in one of those 'get to know leadership' events - 'HR is here for Managers NOT Employees.
It's no surprise that employees will leave after receiving annual AIP. It happens every year & often it is not the employees that NM wants to lose. NM counts on these departures & all remaining employees care about is that their axx may have been saved in the next round of layoff's. It's the ever repeating 'circle of crazy'.
At least 3 people in my department have said they are going to begin job searches once they receive their AIP payouts.
Managers are evaluated at high performer retention. Meaning the people that already get the best ratings, best raises, and the highest bonus money. That attrition in that category is almost 0. It’s actually subtlety saying that NM expects attrition and it’s okay with it as long as it’s not the high performers. No one is worried and leaders are not shedding tears when the lifetime successfuls decide to go to Kohls. Sorry to burst your bubble.
NM appears to be getting worried. Managers are now being evaluated on employee retention. Nine Box evals went down a few levels to keep better track of employees leaving and overall satisfaction. Net Promoter Scores tanked to a new low this year. More than enough signs for leadership to be afraid.
Probably not much. Hard to find this money elsewhere. NM continues to have really low attrition.
I hear rumors that a fair number are expected to leave. Depending on how many actually do leave will determine how many are forced to leave in the next round of layoffs.
