In TX you can't file before. You have to file in the week of. I am not sure if they will givee anything as I have Schwab severance.

Depends on your state. TX - file as soon as you can to get through the 5d waiting period
File the day of your term date or a few days beforehand because it takes time to get through the initial process of verifying your identity etc.
No. You file after. Each state has further policies regarding severance and other payments that could delay eligibility.
