Bonus is a Sick Joke

73%? They lay us off because of their bad judgement and then want to further short change us in this market? I just found out so even if this is old news, it’s new to me. I’m livid because I’ve always gotten above the funded target and now was laid off because my comp was high. It’s was literally from getting raises and because I made the mistake of thinking I didn’t have to move up quickly but could be on the upper end of a pay band. Oh well.

I can’t get past the ECs lack of diversity - there’s 20 leaders, made up of 17 white males, 3 women and only one person of color - Neesha. This is the nexus and it’s never been addressed.

Once again, the majority of the decisions are being made by the white fat cats. And you preach DIE, you’re a disgrace and as my mom would say “What would your mother say if she knew you were cheating your employees”?

I have seen some crazy stuff last 5 years. People getting generous raises, bonuses, stock options even seen a case where someone got promoted 3 years in a row to get them to stay and finish the projects.

It was obvious lot of it was not sustainable in the long run, on top of that the sc--w up out financial strategy team just made that even more critical.

So this is probably new reality for this company for next 5 years. I don't see them crawling out of this hole next year. Small bonuses, small raises few promotions.

@ 1eqs+1raVmXit. OUTSTANDING post. You hit the nail on the head. Waldo, CFO, Treasurer and head of ALM should all be held responsible for their c$cky management and bad investments YET they will all reap the big bonuses. Shame on All of them

The kicker is that the employees that all worked so hard over last 4.5 years in order to get this pig of a merger over the finish line, and then we are thanked with a paltry stock option grant with an 18 month vesting. SMH. It's unbelievable that they didn't just throw every employee 50 shares or 100 shares.

As someone who was let go, I believe we get a bonus when I see the deposit in my bank account, otherwise I am not very positive about it!

In this tough market, it will really help, I am praying it is true and we get a bonus.

I would love to thank the EC committee and those talking heads that encourage questions during all hands mtgs.Since those are always vetted to encourage a vague and word salad response,Here is a direct question to any one of you EC, not just Walt,Rick,Nigel,Peter,Jeff talking heads….please answer why there is only enough money for 73% bonus payout,no or low increase for hard earned promotion,yet you guys on top of being overpaid get sizable bonuses for sh…y decisions ,moral and morale disengagement,lies and non transparency? Pay should be commensurate with experience and stellar results , not who your buddies are.The stupid decision to buy bonds in a rising interest environment should have cost Walt his job. Instead ,let’s give him a bonus that takes away from those that actually deserve it, and not hold him accountable. we could have saved 24 mil + instantly to add to bonus pool.these guys should not be accepting bonuses . Disgraceful.

It’s shocking the senior EC members and Board members would take ANY bonus or stock award based on their performance in 2023.

Not to add salt on the wound but the board gave themselves nice bumps too.

It’s beyond sick. It’s cr-ppy and obscene. The board should be embarrassed but that won’t happen.
