There was a definite absence of tact, agreed. I am, however, pleased that our co-workers are getting something. Is it enough? No, but it’s helpful in a small way. Will the compensation ever be fair? No. Why the surprise? You are spitting into the wind.
I think we can all agree that ALL CEOs are over compensated. It’s disgusting and I hope they have the humanity to feel guilty, but that’s a stretch.
I”m upset that McFarland is making 6 million a year.
I like the bonus but not the fact that Melvin would put the ASM amount in the same email to hourly associates. That creates friction throughout the ranks. Melvin should have known better than to do that a second time. It's kind of like I will give you some money but I'm going to slap you in the face for it.
