Word is approximately 5% layoff coming before Q1 earnings at the start of May. Seems like not enough time to plan it so maybe really before Q2 earnings at start of August. Anyone know more?

Will there be more layoffs now that VSP has happened and before the big ReOrg or will there be a reorg now to fake us out???
They just announced a voluntary severance package.
They just want the US people gone.
I am so sick of this, I am done.
There will be a layoff soon. Take the voluntary severance because the layoff package will be worse.
Tons of companies are waiting for the best talent....
There may not be a need for layoffs anymore. They just announced the return to the office (3 days a week). A lot of people already looking for jobs elsewhere.
It’s hard to believe it’s basically been a year since they laid most of my team off. I still keep in touch with my impacted team members, but I haven’t kept up with the few members that remained.
This job market is terrifying. It’s so quiet out there. I hope that the ones still at Sabre are vigilantly looking around…. It seems like they’re only inches away from folding.
Can you fly?
“allocates $60m for exec bonuses just 6 months later” really? And the board approved this? Sounds like taking the cash before bankruptcy.
Sabre lays off 1300 souls to save $200 million then allocates $60m for exec bonuses just 6 months later.
Offshore those jobs to people who do not know the travel business much less been on an airplane. Sounds like a win win just as reflected in the stock price.
Where will it stop? When will it end?
There are even offshore Senior VPs now.
Will every job be offshored up to Executive VP?
Are there already offshore Executive VPs?
How many people does Sabre employ now and what percentage are in the US?
Look, it's no secret that we are told to layoff a certain pct point of employees and we cal re-hire in low cost centers elsewhere. Been this way for years.
I got laid off last May. I hope they don’t layoff again. Job market is rough out there. Many IT companies are laying off.
This seems accurate and will most likely include an asset sale. March booking numbers seem to be poor and look like rate cuts are postponed. Bad bad bad situation..
Bring back 360 degree reviews and prune the bad out!

yeah. it feels like they are happy that people are leaving. poor leadership. no attempt or effort to retain. merging teams with smaller size. lack of training. #insidetheshift
there are no backfills for the ongoing attrition. that's one way of a pseudo layoff
There are many leaders who do not do any leading. They can lead 100 as easily as 5 when they do not lead. No need to pay 20 salaries when 1 can do same job. Long overdue for cleanup. Potential to save millions of USD.
another 5%? pretty soon sabre won't even have any people to lay off!
The problem is that the market expects positive earnings soon but the revenue still is not high enough to cover the costs so costs must be reduced. The easiest way to quickly reduce costs by a few million is to do another layoff and to do it soon. 5% is what I heard.
no layoffs...
