Cole Engineering Bathrooms - Home of the Savage Beasts!!!!!!

I seriously think the bathroom staff have gone AWOL………

No human in their sane mind would be able to handle the deathly smells and sights in the GM bathrooms………

I ventured into the dungeon only to hear horrible sounds next to my stall; it sounded like the guy in the other stall was choking a mid-et……..

Some of the other toilets looked like people decided to rotate on their bottoms and write their names on the toilet seats…….

The urinals and the floors were really bad. I wiped the bottom of my shoes on the carpet outside the bathroom door. I’ll stop there because people need to eat to live…..

From this point on, progress will not be measured in the cleanliness of the 5th floor restroom. It will be measured by the level of discussion engagement on this forum.
I would like to congratulate everyone for the 85% engagement!
PS Here's a PIP. Remember, this is to help your performance. Please sign here, and here. Initial and date here. Thank you.

Cole Tower 5th floor bath room close to the south side Was bad…

The smell was far from “aged”.

I think the cleaning staff said “fu-k this” and just didn’t want to deal with it.

Some one should seriously file a health violation on what the he-l is going on campus…

Did any one used Cole Tower 5th floor bath room close to the south side last Thursday? I can testify someone probably peed on the floor or on the counter top of the faucets, and janitors probably did not clean the bath room for quite a few days. It was really stick. You can visit that bath room if you want to check out next Tuesday.

Someone should write a book on this; seriously, “A Savage Factory” was published.

It should be titled: “Bathrooms and the Savage Beasts: A Memoir on Company Return To Office.”

Yep. It effects GM. The price of oil and commodities skyrocketed today as the market priced in the conflict. Copper, steel, oil, gasoline and other materials will affect the cost of the vehicle and the ability of the consumer to pay.
If gasoline reaches $4+/gallon again, inflation goes up even higher.
People lose jobs and become much less likely to buy new cars.
The cars people choose will also change. Instead of 60k SUVs, they might just want a $22k KIA that gets 32 MPG.
Beyond that, if America goes to war with Iran, the geopolitical shift will be epic and terrible. Are you prepared to see our young men die in another pointless war?
Things aren't going well. Bi--hing about GM might be your own game but there's a bigger world out there.

Here's a nice distraction for you.
Even though few are discussing this, we are hours away from a full scale war between Israel and Iran and guess who will be caught in the middle of that conflict?
You can ruminate this while enjoying your own restroom tomorrow.

Apparently, some id--t today couldn't hold it or wait and decided to use one of the rectangular trash cans on one of the floors.

The smell was DEATHLY. in the elevators....

I assumed goodness but all I got was this lousy RTO mandate.
However, there are those tangible benefits like airborne p-o particles traveling into the olfactory as I take a leak. Or standing in a puddle of someone else's ur--e.
The jazz soundtrack serves as a nice contrast to it all. It's like mother Mary whispering to you, "welcome to general motors, son".

Odds are it was Mary Barra deleting threads and replies but spared the topic about unsanitary restrooms.

Remember what she said: "Assume Goodness!".

Although, that phrase can be twisted and interpreted in so many demented ways......

Let us know if you get a response.

One of my colleagues had submitted a facility request in the past regarding what he was coming across; he is still waiting on a response.

This might as well be worse than the Titanic disaster......

If you do not like walking around in someone else's pi-s or observing other peoples digestive disorders in the form of abstract art painted on the toilet bowls, submit a complaint to the facility lead of the building. I submitted the complaint, as it is a health hazard using those he-l holes in Cole Podium.

Stay away from the 2nd floor green section - I’ve heard monstrosities happening in the stall next to me - savage animals indeed!

I wonder how drunk the weekend cleaning staff get when they get the short end of a stick.

It must SERIOUSLY take time to clean an entire bathroom thoroughly after savage hordes literally trash them 3 straight days in a row…

Whether or not they can actually sleep afterwards is another story; probably why they get drunk ahead of time…..

Serious question then, was the UAW building division (janitorial, etc) a good deal for everyone, after all.

I actually was in a bathroom in Cole, 2nd floor, on Wednesday.

I SH-T you not, some mo--n plugged up the toilet next to me, & I got to watch his fe--s float by on the floor after it overflowed. I so wanted to pu-e. It was like something out of a demented comedy…..

At least in the Podium, the cleaning staff sit in lunch booths all day. They hang out, chat with other cleaning staff, play with their phones. I have never once witnessed them actually doing anything. I can't be the only one who noticed. There's obviously no accountability. The restrooms in the Cole seem to be much cleaner - probably because far fewer people actually show up. So... if you hate the cesspool, go to the tower! Floors 4-7 seem to be emptier FWIW. Just be kind and clean up after yourselves.

Managers and senior managers sit with us; it's not like they aren't going through this as well. So I wonder why more isn't being done. I can't be the only one thinking that maybe they want us to quit sans severance. IDK but it's unprofessional and disgusting.

If a GM manager is reading this thread- take the hint and do something about it.

Been through many GM bathrooms, and have yet to see a single one where the walls and ceiling were splattered in sh*t.

Yep, that's a thing, especially in retail. You get the wide range from intellectuals down to outright mindless zombie. Logic matters not, to those that are hard wired incorrectly. I'm of the mindset that selective culling, might actually bring up the intellectual gene pool. You can't aim too high, or it will bring it down.

Just imagine what they do at home? Or who cleans up after them if at all? Or how often they get ill from air borne bacteria?
