I know a manager who didn't resign. He's finding another job else where. Burger King managers make about the same with less stress

How much transparency does one really need at the UP? You have Vena and the rest of the PSR D-bags out there destroying the industry for the shareholders. Corporate folks "resigning" from their positions completely unannounced and unexpected, then I'm 100% sure the resignation description is BS! Harrison and Vena forced many executives into retirement or leave the industry altogether because that's what they did. So what transparency are you expecting? There's no way the UP would ever say they fired an executive. That's bad PR, and it's something the UP and Vena want to avoid.
No matter who's in that position, it's a useless job and over paid job. Imagine how many Carman you can bring back off that positions salary and bonus. UP is still to TOP HEAVY. Hope your reading this J.V.!!!!!
Wish there was transparency as to why all these upper level guys are leaving. Non-railroaders have been paying attention to the 2 man crews debate. Meanwhile track, signal, carmen have been the crafts that there wasnt any public discussion, those jobs were eliminated. 2 man crew arguments distracted everyone from who really got cut off.
