why do you care? you obviously aren’t involved in this area so it doesn’t concern you personally.

some teams are so small people will out themselves by answering.

I'm free and clear now that severance is expired and no connection to the firm. wish you all the best and hope you find a good place to put your talents to work . I was in one of their call centers managing a group of talented ri's was their title.
many good years and a life time of memories.

My severance expires end of May.

I was expecting four weeks tops so a little extra was unexpected but appreciated. I don’t know why that happened. I didn’t ask. I just signed my paperwork.

It’s so sickening to hear about layoffs basically every month, or week it seems. Blessings to those who were given the news today

Nielsen’s true coward colors showing now … sending layoff invites the same day and locking people out within an hour.

For potential new hires - THIS IS HOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO THE COMPANY FOR YEARS ARE TREATED. YOU … DESPITE WHAT YOU THINK … WILL BE NO DIFFERENT.

Run, run, run from this company like your hair is on fire. Nothing good comes from working for Nielsen, except for like when owning a boat … your first day then your last.

Yes, locked out of system shortly after, meeting request sent same day

You are locked out within an hour of the layoff.
The meeting is usually put on that day (Within an hour or two of the call) or the night before if your boss is cool and wants to warn you without telling you.

Thanks for the heads up! Layoffs su-k and looks like they are back to doing them on pay weeks…

Question for all those who’ve gone through it..do you start getting locked out of systems before getting laid off? How far in advance does the meeting with management and HR gets placed on the calendar last min or hours advance notice?
