Thread regarding SAS Institute layoffs

Reminder not to be too careless about what you say...

Hey all, I'm a regular poster at this site, and at times I can be very critical of SAS, however I always keep in mind not to overstep the mark. While we post anonymously, thelayoff.com does retain the IP addresses of posters. This opens up the possibility of tracing where comments have come from.

Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

The case link you posted has zero bearing on what goes on here. That case was about people making threats of bodily violent harm to executives. Alot of venting goes on here but I have never seen anyone threaten anyone else let alone by name. Fake news.

That may be true, and I think it's unlikely SAS as a company would take action as any publicity would do them more harm than good, however all it takes is one of the leaders or former leaders who have been mentioned by name here, to take legal action and it could be ugly.

Look at the content of the suit. Its not just babbling that the work environment is poor and the typical run from this place.

I guess it's a good thing SAS doesn't offer stocks, at least not yet. (They won't).
