Cutting jobs and speeding up clean up times from management for years, it was only a matter of time before product was "contaminated". Years in the making. Get product out the door, don't worry about the quality. Cost before quality
Can anyone confirm if salaried and hourly employees are being allowed to apply for other jobs?
Average person is expected to change jobs six times in their lifetime. Unicorn to stay in one place. We will be strong and looking forward to a new experience

It's my understanding those being laid off won't be considered for other positions. This is a resource cut for cost reductions. Pretty sad
Paychecks still coming for 60days, I might apply at other plants since I have 18yrs at Quaker...time to relocate. Not a problem.
Yes it is true. I am at the Danville plant and we just had a meeting. We are closing. The way the building is set up to bring in raw ingredients to avoid contamination is too much to redesign is what they told us. Over 500 employees without jobs.
